Paul told us repeatedly to rejoice in the Lord, even during serious trials. What was his secret?
Like Paul, who was able to rejoice in prison, we can also rejoice during our trials in the fact that we know Jesus, which surpasses everything else.
Through challenging times, such as imprisonment, Paul was still able to rejoice. He rejoiced in being like Jesus in his sufferings. During our suffering, we can also rejoice!
Paul wrote the letter to the Philippian church while he was suffering in jail. Nonetheless, Paul called the church to rejoice!
