Seasons Part 1

There are times are seasons and epochs to everything. Hours, Days, months, seasons, years, jubilee, generations, even astronomical signs.
There are two Greek words for time: Chronos and Kairos
God invented and started time, but he doesn’t live in time. From the beginning he has instituted cycles and seasons and marked them with various signs, such as stars and planetary alignments. He warns us to understand and follow the signs and seasons and act appropriately.

[1] In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. [3] And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. [4] And God saw that the light was good. And God separated the light from the darkness. [5] God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And there was evening and there was morning, the first day. [14] And God said, “Let there be lights in the expanse of the heavens to separate the day from the night. And let them be for signs and for seasons, and for days and years, [15] and let them be lights in the expanse of the heavens to give light upon the earth.” And it was so.

Neither will I ever again strike down every living creature as I have done. [22] While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night, shall not cease.”
Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 ESV

There is a global season that the world is in right now and there is also a personal season that we may be in. Each season is different and each season has a unique way of showing fruitfulness.
WINTER – rest and storing up water
SPRING – blossoming, blooming, fertilization, rain, preparing for summer
SUMMER – growth
AUTUMN – energy saving, fruit bearing, leaves fall off to give the soil nutrition

[1] On the third day there was a wedding at Cana in Galilee, and the mother of Jesus was there. [2] Jesus also was invited to the wedding with his disciples. [3] When the wine ran out, the mother of Jesus said to him, “They have no wine.” [4] And Jesus said to her, “Woman, what does this have to do with me? My hour has not yet come.” [5] His mother said to the servants, “Do whatever he tells you.”
